Kids and their families can listen to a story by phone any time of day for FREE by calling the library's Dial-A-Story at 416-395-5400.
Toronto Public Library’s multilingual telephone story service for children answered 300,000 calls last year! We have stories in English, French, Cantonese, Gujarati, Italian, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Somali, Spanish, Tamil and Urdu and other languages will be added in the future to better serve the diverse population of our city.
There are different stories every day and you can choose from stories for younger children (7 and under) and for older children (up to 12).
