2009-2010 Snack Duty List
Dear Parents,
Welcome back for a wonderful new school year of delicious and healthy snacks
Here is the snack duty list for the 2009-2010 school year.
The general hints, listed below are Guidelines to help your snack duty run smoothly…
What and How much to bring?
- Snacks are for approximately 50 students
- Snacks for the staff (11 total including 5-6 office staff) is voluntary
- Eight 2-litre bottles of fruit juice (no soda pop please), cups, plates, napkins
Snack items may include:
- 1 serving (maximum) of sweets (muffin, cookies, etc)
- 1 or more servings of healthy snacks (fruits, vegetables, crackers & cheese, etc.)
Snack will be served in 2 sessions in Room # 207. Please arrive by 10:30AM in order to setup for snack.
Session 1: 11:00AM-11:15AM
- LEVELS 1 and 2 Classes (apprx 20-25 children)
Session 2: 11:15AM-11:30AM
- LEVELS 3 and 4 Classes (apprx 25-35 children)
- NOTE: Timbits may contain NUTs. Please do not bring Timbits or donuts.
Parents on snack duty must remain in school after school ends to ensure that all students have been picked up at 12:00 Noon.
NOTE:
If serving chocolates (no hard candies), please do so at the end of class and not during snack time.
If the schedule date is inconvenient for you please make an alternate arrangement with another parent. Also inform a member of the parents committee of the change..

We have children with nut allergies and chick-pea allergies. We have one child with slight allergy to carrots. The school is a nut-free zone, so lets maintain that status.
Please take special care when selecting snacks for the children.
